If this is *not* the US 120V version of the 323S, then be aware that you really *should* resolder the internal wiring or use a transformer. Here is a post from Kevin Gilmore, one of the most respected amplifier designers, in response to my question about plugging the unmodified 240V version of the 323S into the 120V US grid: http://www.head-fi.org/t/677809/the-stax-thread-iii/2955#post_10815520
The modification is supposed to be relatively easy *if* it is the 240V version (several others exist for which the modification is difficult due to missing wires). However, it requires soldering inside a high-voltage device. I'm personally not comfortable doing this, so I'm pulling my participation in this drop until there's some clarification from Massdrop on which version of the 323S is included.

gepardcvDude, now you got me confused. Hehe. You're saying it could possibly be the 240V version, the image shows 220V and the listing states '117'. Would be nice to know which transformer to get :)

ymaxYou could wait until you get it, open up the amp, and check the wiring against the diagram in http://www.head-fi.org/t/223263/the-stax-thread-new/15720#post_7525414 and http://www.head-fi.org/t/223263/the-stax-thread-new/15720#post_7531241.
