I have had the Steel Series 9h's for about 3 years now, and I love them. I use them daily for long periods of time for gaming, movies, and listening to music. I bring them with me almost everywhere and they are extremely durable. I have dropped them multiple times and they still work perfectly. I have seen people complain about poor sound quality, but honestly, I don't notice it at all. The microphone sounds fine and the microphone being able to be freely positioned and holds its place is really useful. One thing I was concerned about myself before purchasing was if they would hurt my ears after wearing them for hours on end. I am extremely pleased to say that the foam cups stand off the inside of the headphone cup far enough away from my ear to where it barely touches. The cups are soft leather and the speaker cover is a plush, soft fabric. The headphones use a micro USB cable instead of the normal 3.5mm jack. It comes with 2 cables that attach to the headphone, a normal length one and an extremely long one. The micro USB cables can plug into multiple adapters that they include in the box such as: 3.5mm jack, split 3.5mm microphone and headphone jacks, and the USB sound card that they give you. The sound card is nothing special and I don't use it hardly at all, and it was the only thing that broke on these headphones.
In conclusion, if you are looking for a comfortable, durable, functional, good looking pair of headphones, these are for you.
