I use Samson 850s With a logitech g430 usb adapter And mod mic
Around $100 set up but some of the best audio you can get. Ive never seen a gameing headset come remotely close to my set up in quality or sound.

SHADOW6sixSame here, I gave up on the gimmicky "7.1" surround sound out of Left & Right Drivers. You can hook up any good quality Audio Headphones and add a ModMic for less, if you want that supposedly that "7.1" surround, just download the software, either way you'll get far supirior Audio quality! with a pair of good cans.

bx157I think you are losing the forest for the trees here. The whole point of these headphones is that they are good quality WIRELESS headphones with mic. Sure you can pick your own headphones and attach a modmic, but then you just went from wireless freedom to not 1, but 2 wires.
