Whether you’re traveling, camping, or stocking up your home emergency kit, the SteriPEN Aqua has a lot to offer. This lamp is good for 3,000 treatments, and can purify 50 liters on one set of alkaline batteries or about 150 liters using lithium batteries. Lightweight and easy to use, the UV water purifier removes 99.9 percent of viruses, bacteria, and protozoa that cause waterborne illness (including giardia and cryptosporidium) in as little as 48 seconds. Simply press the button to activate the lamp, place it in the water, and stir. When the treatment is complete, the lamp will turn off and an LED indicator will let you know the water is safe to drink.
