Just read everyones comments in this discussion... I mean I don't think it's pointless. Yea, all it does it spin, but I do think it's pretty cool and it's a art piece. The only problem with "some" people here is the price for a simple tool. I REALLY don't think this is stupid and I actually wouldn't mind owning one, but $70-$63? People who are defending this product are telling us to stop hating the product, but I don't see anyone hating it. More like confused and why can't people complain or share their opinions about the price? Like honestly, I don't care if you're rich but $70 isn't a small number.
Someone said, "we're not forcing you to buy this", BUT we're not even complaining or asking about buying this product! We're just stating a fact that it's still expensive no matter what! Eccentric_Mandalorian is making some good point, but it sounds kinda one sided. I do have couple knives and yes I do think expensive knives are ridiculous when they're simply just a tool to stab and cut things, but just like this spinning pocket top, It's the beauty of it's that important right? People like collecting things that they like, correct?
So i'm not hating. If there are people willing to buy $70 knives just like Eccentric_Mandalorian said because it handles a better material then I guess there are people willing to spend $70 on a spinning tool, because I assume it has "also" handles a better material. What is so freaking amazing that it handles so much better that this product will cost $70 then? What "BETTER" material is this tiny product is used to be $70? Tell me when this is made out of a Diamond next time and I guess we'll talk about "better material", because to me I think this product is only expensive because it is hand made by a person name Steven Robbins (I assume that he is famous?) Eccentric_Mandalorian is a person who thinks it's ok to buy expensive knives or these type of products. Collecting or buying things because it caught your attention won't apply to other people. It could also be a personal thing. So as a person who isn't going to buy this product (I also won't be forcing anyone to buy this product) I think expensive knives is pretty stupid and this product for it's price I find it too much.
Eccentric_Mandalorian says, "This is one that costs money and it teaches you a little about physics if you care enough to pay attention." So he's basically telling me that I'll be spending $70 on this and while it spins for 5 min I would be appreciating the logic of physics.... but then what happens after it stops spinning? Yea, you just spent $70 to see something spin for 5 min so that you can appreciate physics and entertain you... Literally, a tiny metal piece that spins for 5 minutes that will cost me $70 . Yes, I've been thinking that for over 10 minutes and definitely not worth it for me. If I wanted to spend money to learn about physics then I would be buying basketballs or something cheaper.
Anyway, there shouldn't be a reason to hate or to be mean to each other so I hope people think this product isn't lame or tell others that we can't afford this. Collecting these types of stuff could be a hobby thing so. Also, it's your money so why would I be complaining? I hope it reaches to the cheapest point and people enjoying this product!
Have a nice day ~ !
