I really want to have the knee jerk reaction that this is just so outstandingly expensive and un-needed. Then I remembered I have a $200 knife in my pocket that I only use to open amazon and massdrop boxes, to put things in perspective.

DrKhanMDAt least the knife does something useful, though. Hopefully not, but someday that knife might cut you out of a stuck seat belt if you happen to get in a car accident. It _could_ save your life.
I doubt the top will ever be as useful.

whackoI wouldn't discount the value of entertainment. For some it can be something to play with, or something to pass time. I mean I could honestly see just sitting in a nice place, sipping a coffee, spinning a top to be quite relaxing. Other might like them simply for the value of collecting something. *shrugs* Not my thing, but playing devil's advocate.
