I have had this top for a little while now. It is my second pocket top. My first is a Prometheus. This is a pretty difficult top to spin correctly. It is very close to the surface and especially with a concave shaving mirror it will really test your ability to spin straight. Luckily even an easy spin can get over 6 minutes but if I try any harder it always goes wonky. Must practice more! But a beautiful top and once it is going it really goes good.

I love these tops. I'm running out of pockets . Machined, precision tops are just the next evolution of an ancient fascination with spinning objects that spans multiple cultures around the world over thousands of years. There is something very Zen like in watching these tops spin.

Do they all spin for 11 mins or does it vary on how good of a spin one whirls?
dwane5I test them all and 1" copper tops should run up in that range on a good surface (concave mirror or lens) with a strong spin and some practice.
