I was excited about the idea of having a small, good-quality fountain pen, but now that I have used it I am fairly unimpressed. The cap does not seat onto the end well enough to stay there and make it long enough to hold it comfortably. Without that, it feels like a junky little toy pen. A toy pen that I paid way too much for.
I'm starting to feel like I have been lured in by the appealing presentation of this site, and that led me to assume that these items are all vetted for quality. I suppose that's not really what the site is claiming, but I feel like it is implied by the positive explanations of the products, and excellent graphic style of the webpages.

colby2Agreed. My Passaporto purchase last year on MassDrop was a huge waste of money. It was a horribly dry writer, felt cheaply made and has way too many o-rings and parts to clean easily. I would recommend people stay away from this pen.

jwink1971Hey @jwink1971 -- Definitely appreciate your feedback here, and generally in other comments that I've seen on the site. I hope that I can address the issues you've raised here...
I'm sorry that you didn't have a pleasant experience with your own Passaporto; did you contact our Customer Support team for a repair or exchange? The vendor has been great about honoring the warranties on Stipula products.
Just a heads-up that @colby2 's comment is 11 months old and relates to the revised version that was discontinued, not the original design being offered here. Per this Description page, the problem that @colby2 notes (cap does not stay posted) is one of a few key things that were changed between the original design and subsequent revisions.
We're aware that revised models were not designed and made to the same standards as the original, and we have confidence that the new production of the original design - especially of the grip section - will be more durable than revised models were. As to how it feels in your hand, that's for you to decide. I've been told that some interim models may have been injection-moulded, whereas the original and this reproduction of that design are lathe-turned.
Regarding internals being hard to clean, did you find that the Passaporto was harder to clean than other eyedropper pens, or that it's just the nature of any pen like this?
Sorry for the long response, I appreciate you sharing your experience for everyone's benefit.
