Does anyone have any experience with this company/model? I use all of my fountain pens so I am not interested in having ones that are collectible or limited edition unless they are also just great pens.

"Stipula is an Italian company of some repute. Their high end stuff is some of the best stuff out there, period. Lots of innovation and modernity. Their low end, like this stuff, is good and comparable to commensurate brands at a similar price point such as pilot, visconti, sailor and platinum. Their steel nibs are just fine, no better or worse than a well tuned goulet, FC, Faber-Castell, or Edison in steel. They were one of the first, if not the, that came out with a semiflex titanium nib. I would personally buy this pen if I was hankering after a new one and had the spare money. I just got a puppy three weeks ago so won't be spending a dime on pens for quite a while, maybe even selling some. This pen is just as good and much better than most any other at the same price point, plus a better filling system than any at this price point plus the workmanship. It's a bold, modern design but if you like it I would hedge that the writing experience is top notch for the materials. Again, I'd buy it right now if not for my pup taking precedence in my life."
