You have to love quilters with retired husbands in their woodshop. Lol.

SavagepinkThese are actually made by a wood products manufacturer in South Carolina and assembled in a Vocational Workshop for the disabled . We are very proud of the fact that they are made in the USA and provide meaningful employment to people who might otherwise not have a job. I only wish my husband were retired and handy with woodworking tools .. I’d have a ton of things to keep him busy!

Just got my Stitch App and it arrived broken. Contacted Massdrop customer service and was told that there is no manufacturer warranty on this item, so I can only return it and get a refund. Buyer beware!!

VdonnenbAn update to my original comment. Despite what the rep from Massdrop said, the people at the LapAppStore replaced my broken StitchApp and could not have been nicer. It was a pleasure working with them, and the StitchApp is pretty cool, too!

Sandy there is an error. The base and top are supposed to be attached so when you pick up the handle the whole unit moves as one piece.

When you pick up the handle, does the bottom lift with it or are they totally separate?

quiltwomanHi @quiltwoman, I stand corrected. Our vendor has said that the two pieces are attached and will not separate when you lift the handle.
