The Sturmanskie Gagarin 24 Hours Automatic, so named for the first man in space, Yuri Gagarin, is defined by its 24-hour indicator at the dead center of the dial. A worldly watch to a tee, this timepiece features a rotating disc in the center picturing Earth, as if being viewed from the North Pole—just as Gagarin may have seen it on his epic 108-minute space flight in the 1960s. Powered by the Vostok 2432 32-jewel movement, the watch will tick for 31 hours. If you’d like to track another time zone, use the bidirectional rotating inner bezel, which is operated by the crown at 10 o’clock. And seeing as the watch has aerospace roots, it’s made from tough materials including a stainless steel case and mineral crystal for a water resistance of 100 meters.
