A true 24-hour automatic, the Sturmanskie Open Space Watch completes just one full revolution in a day. Adorned with cyrillic lettering and bold Arabic numerals, this titanium watch calls to mind a Soviet train station or an officer’s watch Read More
Such a pretty watch! I love the rust color and brown band. I don't understand all the negative comments about where it comes from since most of us are probably wearing something form China today. I posted this very early in the morning so you all could put on your Swiss timepieces and contradict me. Good play.
Does anyone out there have a 24hr automatic? If so, what are your thoughts? Although the price is a little high for me at this moment I can't seem to find anything similar on the internet for less than $450. The next time I'm in the Eastern Bloc I'll have to look this brand up. Save some green backs on the exchange rate.
Capt. Buzzkill here but why would any American consumer want to support any Russian company with our consumer dollars given the actions of their government these last many years? I can't imagine buying this drop any more than sending money to North Korea or Saudi Arabia. I'm surprised how many US folks here don't think twice about buying Russian goods, and if you feel that politics has no place on a retail goods forum you don't understand that your dollars are votes.
Oh. And mineral glass at $300?!? There's that...
I appreciate your comments, but I can't resist:
...the Russian soldiers were all wearing Casio G-Shocks just like us U.S. soldiers were - does that mean we have to boycott Casio now?
I read that as the Russian soldiers just wanted a watch that worked reliably. :-)
