Is this a good kit to learn Python from scratch? I have zero knowlage in python..

EliadRaspbian (the OS) has Scratch by default which is a Python training application. You could get any Raspberry Pi and get that benefit. This kit will give you a lot of projects to code through on your way to learning Python though.
