I am a beginner. It would be helpful to know what computer to get that works with this kit. Seems dumb not to provide this information to beginners.

ETS8It literally says in the name of the drop "for Raspberry Pi" I don't think they could have made it more obvious.

clubmate420Seems to me there are various versions of the pi available. To bad you were not able provide a useful response.

ETS8You can see on picture 6 that they are using a Raspberry Pi 3 Model B. Also it doesn't matter which version you use (you can even use different microcomputers) as long as they have 40 GPIO pins for the ribbon cable and host shield. Otherwise, you have to jump the pins to the breakout board yourself. Thats information you can get with 5 minutes of searching on google.
