TherocSorry, @Theroc, I've been out the last few weeks. Last @XiKuang heard from the vendor a week or so ago was that they were still backordered, but we should be able to get an updated inventory list from them soon.

TherocTheroc - Super5 just came out with their new colors.... (Were supposed to be out in May, but was delayed. )Dang if they aren't selling out quickly.Unfortunately only overseas sellers, which means over seas shipping. Unfortunately, the shipping is more than the pen. They do have a facebook page - But, I haven't been able to locate a US seller with the new pens. I suspect it may be a while before the US has a vendor that carries them. Unless Amazon should happen to have them in the future. As for now, I have only seen the original black pens in a few places. Fingers crossed Mass Drop can organize a drop - and that is the bonus of Mass Drop..... They can organize drops for pens that can otherwise be difficult to get otherwise :)

j-e-gThanks for the update. Some of the colored versions are mouth-watering. But all of them are sold out, even the original black. Not that it would make any difference at $40-shipping. It does not, however, bode well for the prospects of a Super5 drop; if they don't have any in stock to offer through their website, they probably won't have any to sell via Massdrop. Unless they are out of stock because Massdrop has them all :p Fingers crossed.

TherocWell .. you just burst my bubble ! LOL I looked earlier today and yes, I do love the Gold/Yellow one. (forget what is was called) . Just glad I have the black one with .5 nib.Suppose I better treat it with more r-e-s-p-e-c-t... Although, I can't imagine it being easily damaged, they are well built. I have to say I own a lot of fountain pens and it is up on my favorites list. I was sad to hear Goulet Pens was not going to carry them any longer. Brian said that they weren't a good seller for them at the time. Now, they are sold out as soon as they become available. Go figure. Take care Theroc !

They sell them through eBay and Amazon and direct from their website seitz-global.com. Their lowest price is currently through Amazon. SG ship free from Germany and my past orders from them have arrived within six days. I couldn't wait any longer so I got myself two. If this drop ever becomes available, I'll get some more (I like to match pen to ink).

TherocNice! I've actually been in touch with our Super5 vendor this week, and we are moving forward on getting samples of the new, revised line. We hope to be able to offer all available sizes (0.5, M, 0.7, B) and colors before the end of October. Stay tuned!

TherocTheroc & Liz - I know why you have the nick Theroc - You definitely rock ! I just ordered one through Amazon - The Delhi (deep yellow ) I would have ordered 2 but I already spent some of my "allowance". Wouldn't you know it, I had been saving my pen money since they first announced that the new line would out in May... So don't worry Liz - I will be looking forward to the drop to grab another... Theroc@Theroc - I have to ask you ( and anyone else that can share their opinions ) ... what is your impression of the new Super5 Pen you recently received ? I am curious as to what you think of the materials, durability and differences between the new one and the origional Black Body pen ? Got mine late afternoon yesterday, wrong color.
Editing this post in the interest of fairness - I may have misread the reply I received from Seitz-Kreuznach about the pen I received. I didn't want my post to reflect badly on Seitz-Kreuznach or their customer service. I'll wait until my transaction is complete.

j-e-gBummer. I ordered the Australia and the Atlantic from them. The Australia was fine. The lacquer on the Atlantic's grip had a small chip to it where it comes in contact with the cap. I contacted them for a replacement, they said I could do that or get a $10 refund. I opted for the latter. My experience with Seitz-Kreuznach in the past has been very positive. Kaweco Special, Pelikan Edelstein, Seitz-Kreuznach ink (the 3oz is incredible value), being some of the items I bought from them. That said, the Super5s do not live up to their usual standards. For starters, the packaging is their own, not the manufacturer's. They do not look used, but they don't look brand new either. My guess is they bought them in boxes of a thousand or whatever, and the pens got roughed-up. Unfortunately shipping from the US to Europe costs significantly more than the other way around. So it's not fun if something goes wrong, but it's a risk I am willing to take.

Theroc@Theroc.. Thanks so much for the input. I went back and re-read the email I received from Seitz-Kreuznach. I believe that I misread the reply. I think, now, that it is the same as you explained. I did write them back to double check and apologize if I did in fact misread their reply. In the interest of fairness , I wanted to edit that part of my post. I would not want to dissuade anyone or in anyway to reflect poorly on the service or products of Seitz-Kreuznach. With that said, I have the same "can't put my finger on it" initial response to the pen. I wanted to see how you/others felt about them. I wasn't sure if it just wasn't the overall look/color I anticipated swaying my response. I haven't wanted to ink it up until I know how well it writes compared to the one I bought in 2015. But, I'll let you know when I do - Thanks for replying and explaining how your experience(s) were. When we're wrong we're wrong - so, I shall edit that post :) - J
