The Super5 fountain pen that I received last week was pretty great. The rollerball is dry and scratchy with all but the wettest inks. Black eel didn't calm the scratchiness but did result in a broader but inconsistant wet/dry line that did randomly aproach .7mm. I'm not going to rma it because I'm afraid that theyll ask for the fp as well and I really like the thing. I'll leave the sticker on the rb, wait a few years for the product line to tank, and pass it off as a rare collectable on ebay.

BlooI had good luck with Montblanc, Lavender Purple.
I bought this for my girlfriend who is always looking for a better rollerball pen but I will grab it from time to time and I like it so far.
Will likely buy another one.

sd10521My issue seems to be more of a general mechanical problem. The ball almost acts like it has a sprue that is catching randomly in the socket. I had thought that a heavily lubricated ink would help, but it couldn't overcome what I suspect is more of a macro fault. I think that these pens either work or they don't in some cases.
