I typically use a 75 for piecing and a 90 for quilting. The Superior Threads website says that I should use an 80 for piecing and 90 for quilting. Here is a chart on their website to explain which needle you might need in case you also use a size not listed here: http://www.superiorthreads.com/media/docs/home-machine-reference-guide.pdf.
