There is absolutely no benefit at buying it here for almost the same price as Amazon. Also, Amazon has had a sale on these a few times in the $25 range, and if you purchase stuff from there frequently can probably bundle it.
Or alternatively, you can wait for the Samson SR850. Superlux is the OEM, and they have similar sound signatures, but no detachable cable. Also seen in the $25 range frequently (generally with free shipping).
