Would not recommend this watch. I've had one for about one year now that I use for running. The battery life is poor, lasting 3 days at most for someone who uses it frequently. The watch is giant and bulky as well. My specific watch slowly became less and less accurate as far your pace goes while running, now it's off by about 25 seconds and nothing I do fixed it. Some of my buddies have a Garmin forerunner 220 watch for an extra $100 that does everything and more than this, and it is lighter. Would recommend the Garmin Forerunner.

I have one of these, that's almost 3 years old now. I use it mostly for running. When I start the run, it's usually fully-charged, and after a 2hr run it's usually on about 75%-80% battery remaining. You can also adjust how often it polls the GPS to get more granularity at the expense of battery life. I think I have mine on the second from the most fine-grained.
By default, the data is exported to their MovesCount.com application, but the raw data is also stored on your computer, and you can convert it to a variety of formats using freely-available online tools.

nothing about battery life with GPS logging on. And once logged, how format can you get the data in?
