Juls11I wish I could answer that question for You. About the price difference. I would most definitely let You know. But this has me wondering myself. Though it might have something to do with the different type of protecting glass over the face of the watch.

Juls11 I own three Suunto's, 2 cores and an Ambit 2S, all with the mineral crystal. They do scratch, but not easily. I bought all three of these used, and have seen a lot of used suuntos during that time, they seem to hold up very well. Someone in an early post said the same, they've been very satified with the less expensive mineral option on this specific model. I tend towards saving a few bucks as long as I keep all the functionality, And sorry - if its used for it's intended purpose it's going to get some good looking wear to it anyway :)

TodzkiI did find that there is a good face protector for this piece and I am sure others. Made by same company that makes them for smartphones and other similar devices.

Juls11I think that for 130 USD you can buy a lot of screen protectors to protect your screen from scratches ... I have a tempered glass screen protector on my smartwatch for 2 years and the screen behind is in perfect condition. I am sure you can find a tempered glass film screen for this watch as well that won't cost more than 10 USD
