How is the bass on this system? I have heard that it is not great for hip hop or bass heavy songs.

JonnyLoVery disappointing if you like bass for hip hop, rap, r&b, and any bass heavy track. Everyone refers it as tight bass, I say it has none. Basically when you're expecting it to boom it never goes boom. There is no rumble of the bass, if you like bass consider the Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 instead. Otherwise it's better than the Logitech setups currently being offered sound quality wise. Scroll down more to read the comments.
