Take it from me: You will not enjoy having to crawl under your desk to reach for the volume knob in short order. That control SHOULD be the Sub level control (which is hidden around back of the sub). The 'engineer' who designed this should go back to working at Wal-Mart as a greeter.

GimmeDaGoodsI thought exactly the same thing - why would you put the volume control there? You're either encouraging people to put a subwoofer on their desk, or you're asking them to get on the floor whenever they want to adjust the level. What with them being multimedia speakers I suppose most people will be controlling volume with their PC or amp, but they hey could have integrated a wired remote.

GimmeDaGoodsThis is an amazing set of speakers if used as intended. The mid woofer is not intended to go on the ground.

GimmeDaGoodsWell at least he or she is an engineer who brought a product from conception to production as opposed to being an angry keyboard typist :-)

LeowulfStating a fact based on 25 years in the studio and 20+ using sound systems. . Now: "Give me a 'G'! Give me an 'F'! Give Me a 'Y'! What does that mean?" "Who asked you for your opinion?" Yaaay!

GimmeDaGoodsThat was cringey but you are close to being a senior citizen so I'll give you a pass.

LeowulfSmFh! Baby boy: That was 2 WEEKS ago. And if being in my early 40s makes me a "senior citizen", let me share a pearl of wisdom with your punk arse: Age=Wisdom. Your certitude comes from your ignorance. So: 1) Look up Dunning-Kruger Effect. 2) Quietly shuffle off and DIAF. Thank you.

bigxyzA mid/low driver should, ideally be put in a corner or, at least, on a solid floor, near a wall.

LeowulfNothing against the person that made these but I agree that the volume control should be on one of the two speakers not the sub, if you put the sub on the floor or desk it's going to be out of reach either way I couldn't see having the sub on the desk especially close enough to reach it but the setup looks decent in pictures and is very cheap so sacrifices have to be made and I'd rather it not be in sq, I'm not interested in this but not because of the volume placement that could be solved with a preamp
