Contemplating getting, is it worth it?

MaverickMidoriI've had a a set of these speakers for the past 4 years, and I can say they are well worth the price. No they aren't top of the line, and the 'bass' speaker is more of a Mid-bass in all honesty (Though it still carries the lows quite well). That being said, I've used them for everything from daily YouTube browsing, to full on music production and have found them often out performing my studio grade headphones. One of my very few complaints about the set is that the blue LED around the main volume nob is not adjustable in any way, which is only a complaint due to the fact it sits right across from my bed. However, the Set has held up quite well overall, with no sign of wear and I would highly recommend them, especially for the reduced price. Not to mention, the white looks quite nice.

MaverickMidoriAgreed, they do sound decent. That blue LED is obnoxious. I ended up covering up the LED with some red lens repair tape to dull the brightness.

MaverickMidoriI have had mine for a year and continue to enjoy them - killer sound for the price, although I know there are better out there . I have not upgraded because I can't justify spending alot of $ when I already have excellent sound. Very happy with my purchase.

MaverickMidoriIf you want bass you will be disappointed. If you have the funds, I'd recommend stepping up to better setups with bookshelf speakers, subwoofer, and an amp. Otherwise it's good for the price and enjoyable to listen to if you don't care for bass at all. I still prefer Klipsch 2.1 with modded Tang Band satellites over this though. You get the rumble of the bass and more refined clarity. The HiVi satellites are pretty good but the Tang Band edges out on top. You have to consider that it may or may not get radio interference depending on where you live.

Soul_FoxI too have had a set of these for over 6 years and they have been nothing but rock solid. They look great on most desks and while I do not have the "mid-woofer" on my desk as most have done, there is still enough bass for me. I have these hooked up to my Audioengine D1 DAC which makes a great budget set up.
As I've said, I've had this exact set up for 6 years now and have not had any problems. Only now am I looking to upgrade both my DAC and these M10's. For the DAC/AMP, I'm thinking something from Schiit (Lyr 2 or Joten or however you spell it) and upgrading my speakers to the Swan T200C.
