kailaniBeing coaxial the cables are shielded per standard, and the power ground system is also certified to international standards. You should try very inexpensive ferrite cores around both power and signal cables to add to the shielding. Very wideband amplifiers can pick up electrical noise in noisy environments but these cores are effective measures...

kailaniI also got these a few drops ago and while they sound amazing, when I'm not playing anything they are very annoying. I hear the same radio stations every day and I don't know any way to fix it. I actually read about this problem before I decided to get these speakers and hoped I wouldn't get the same problem but I do have it. If anyone desires peace and quiet while the speakers are on, I recommend you get some other speakers.

keyrefI replaced my cables with some cheap ones off amazon and it stopped the signals from coming through.

JonLaneHow is it grounded if the plug doesn't even have a ground? That's not how grounding works.
If the cables were shielded then turning on LED lights or placing a phone 2ft away from the cables should not cause interference.
Ferrite cores lessened the problem but by no means solved it.

kailaniA third prong is a redundant safety ground, not an electrical or audio earth. There are probably a million M10s in the field and who knows how many hundreds of millions more other two-prong audio devices. A third prong isn't how they are shielded.
Cables likewise: The cables supplied are coaxial and therefore completely standard for the industry. You can certainly try others but there's nothing missing in the ones supplied.
If you'd like a replacement set, contact Chane Music & Cinema, but out of the hundred thousand or so of these we've imported as manufacturer-authorized seller, I can count on one hand the times we've been able to duplicate an experience like this. Some electrical and radio environments are simply noisier.

salmonerd202Unplugging the audio in doesn't stop the noise for me so I don't think thats the problem.
Edit: Alright, after putting ferrite cores on all the cables, it seems to have reduced the noise problem. However upon plugging the audio in cable I get noise again so I'll try get another cable off amazon and hopefully that fixes it.
Edit2: lol some more loops and a bit more ferrite cores seems to have stopped almost all noise...

JonLaneI bought some ferrite cores off amazon and sadly they don't fix the problem. I think? they've made it quieter but I can still hear a radio station. Is there any specific placement I should do? I placed a few ferrite cores on both speaker cables and the power connection but I still hear radio noise.

JonLaneclearly that is not the case. im another customer that is extremely frustrated with the interference i'm picking up with these speakers, as at least 5 others on this thread and many more posting on forums you can read for yourself by googling swan m10 interference.
i bought the ferrite cores and attached them to all of the cables and hardly any difference.
So please don't belittle our complaints and give answers like "Some electrical and radio environments are simply noisier." I have had to deal with interference problems on anything i have ever owned. I need a real solution to this problem or the speakers are going to be thrown out

I live in the city on a hill where there is a decent bit of radio activity, and these speaker wires pick up AM radios and actually broadcast them out loud. It's because none of the cables are shielded or braided (very stupid), and no grounding for the entire system (also very stupid). Would recommend logitech equivalents over this.
