Dear Group,
We are sorry to inform you that we have decided to cancel this Swan M50W Multimedia Speaker System drop. All existing orders have been canceled, and since no one has been charged yet, no refunds are necessary.
Before every drop goes live, as part of our pre-drop process, we always ensure that the vendor will have sufficient inventory within a specified time-frame. Our vendor confirmed with us that their warehouse had ample quantity and that a hold would be put on a majority of those units. A couple days after the drop went live, and as more and more people joined the drop, our vendor did another precautionary inventory check. That’s when they realized that the hold they issued was either ignored or miscommunicated and that the majority of their inventory was sold.
The vendor is very frustrated in how these turn of events played out and is currently looking into the root cause of this warehouse hiccup. They will be addressing it shortly to make sure that this type of scenario doesn’t repeat itself in the future.
We realize that this is a sought after product by our community, so our vendor is currently working on replenishing their inventory. They are estimating that this should occur in around two months. If you would like to see this drop ran again, please go to the drop page and click request.

ArthurMI'd like to suggest an active system of letting your customers know when a drop has been cancelled or changed in some way. A simple email to those that joined this drop letting us know of this change seems like the most effective way to communicate the update. It sucks to have to first wonder what the status is, then search my email, find the link to this drop, then come and manually search through the comments sections to see this update.
It leaves a bad taste in my mouth to go from wondering when my new speakers are going to arrive, to find out I haven't been updated since I committed to the purchase, to then have to manually find the info, and then find that the whole drop was cancelled. A super bummer of a 5 minute adventure.

ArthurMIt's been more than two months and we have more than enough requests to relaunch the drop. Could you guys at least give us any information on whether or not the vendor will be contacted any time soon? Not sure whether to buy speakers elsewhere already or wait for the next drop and run the risk of it taking forever.
