I find it interesting that the Klipsch Promedia 2.1's are THX certified, and have a frequency response that goes from 31 Hz - 20 kHz. The frequency response for the HiVi M50W is 38 - 20khz. The HiVi's are much prettier than the Klipsch, but you can find the Klipsch Promedia's on sale all the time at Best Buy for $109. I had a set that lasted me 10 years, and I never tired of them. They aren't as elegant looking as the HiVi's,. but Klipsch customer support is available here in the U.S.A.. I wish they still made the Klipsch Promedia 5.1's. Those had an 8" subwoofer, and would rock your world. I could purchase two sets of Klipsch promedia's 2.1 and end up with two subwoofer, and four satellite speakers for less than a pair of HiVi M50W's With two sets of Klipsch Pro Media 2.1's one could set up a 4.2 surround sound system for less than one pair of the MiVi. M50W. Anyone else ever tried, or owned the Klipsch THX certified Promedia 2.1's?

VitalAwww rip pro media 5.1. I remember buying the last set at a local bestbuy back in 2005 when they went clearance. Best (multimedia) set I owned for my pc rig, but then they died a few years back and I cried a little. Ended up with a corsair sp2500 hahaha
