Anyone else have a slight humming/buzzing noise coming from the subwoofer when it is turned on? I've tried disconnecting all other cables besides the power and it still persists whenever I turn on the subwoofer. Also tried it in different outlets throughout my house. It's only slight, but I can notice it a bit when nothing is being played through the speakers.

xtenglongSounds like you may have a 60 cycle hum...they can be very tough to isolate. Is the speaker grounded? How long ago did you purchase the speakers?

VitalI just received the speakers yesterday. The speakers are not grounded, but I've tried connecting it to numerous outlets throughout my house.

xtenglongHere is a good explanation and sample of a 60 cycle hum. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mains_hum Is that what you're hearing?

VitalIt kind of sounds lower than the 60 hz hum, but higher than the 50 hz. I tried the subwoofers in two other houses and it's still the same. I already issued a replacement through Massdrop and they were fast to reply. I just have to wait a few weeks for it to be back in inventory.

xtenglongI had the same problem with a subwoofer I purchased. It was made overseas where they use 50Hz. not 60Hz. I tried plugging it in at several different friends houses, but the hum was still there. I ended up having to return the subwoofer. I hated to have to return it because I loved the subwoofer. I just couldn't stand the constant hum.
