The way a wok is designed (with its wide opening and deep, sloped sides) makes it ideal for stir frying. While this one can certainly tackle a big stir fry, it can just as easily braise veal, deep fry chicken, and steam vegetables. Designed for even heat distribution, the Swiss Diamond Premium Clad Wok is made with five layers to seal in heat without burning. The rivet-free cast stainless steel handle is slightly oversized for an easy grip, and the opposite side has a separate handle for extra mobility. Feel free to put the walk in the dishwasher or the oven as this Swiss-made pan is safe to 500 degrees. Furthermore, it’s compatible with a wide range of stovetops—even induction and halogen. It comes with a tempered glass lid to top it off.
