Any chance of seeing this drop again, with the ballpoint as a separate option (and not an add-on to the FP)?
Exciting news group! We’re happy to report that all of the orders have been shipped out and are now on the way to you! Please allow 24-48 hours for tracking to get into the shipper's system and start updating.
If there’s anything else we can do to make your Massdrop experience better, feel free to contact us via “Contact Support” button in your transaction page: https://www.massdrop.com/transactions
Great news group! The vendor has let us know that the group's order was picked up and is on its way to our warehouse now. Based on the tracking provided these are scheduled to come in 9/16. Our warehouse team has been forwarded tracking info and will be standing by, ready to get these packed up and turned around as soon as they come in.
Sometimes shipments get delayed en route, not to worry as we will keep the group posted throughout the process and notify you all if anything causes delay.
Thanks for your patience and expect an update from us on 9/17 or sooner if something comes up.
Quick update for the group. We are in contact with the vendor and awaiting updated shipment estimates from them. We have a call scheduled first thing tomorrow morning and should get a bit more visibility in regards to when we can expect these in our warehouse. We will update the group as soon as these are on the way.
Thanks for your patience and expect an update from us on 9/10 or sooner if something comes up.

Thanks again for joining this drop! With your help we were able to make it successful for the community. We've just submitted the group's order with the vendor for the Taccia Covenant Collection and they are working hard to prepare it for shipment.
As soon as the group's order is ready at the vendor's location, they will send the bulk shipment to our warehouse in New Jersey where our warehouse team will break it up into individual orders and ship them directly to you! The current estimated ship date from our warehouse is 9/16.
Rest assured that we we will provide you all with updated information regarding the status of your order throughout the process. You can expect an update from us by the end of the day Pacific Time on 9/8.
Hey everyone -- Great news: we've been able to work with the vendor and make the lowest drop price available at 18 units on the last day. Hopefully this helps everyone who has joined and a couple more members to make this drop successful today.
Hey everyone -- This drop has passed halfway to the lowest drop point, so we'll give it a few more days and hope a few more members will help us to reach the lowest drop point. For those who have already joined, we do see that sharing on social media can make a difference for drops that are still in need of more support - especially on items that have a unique style or are made by lesser-known brands.
I object to the description saying that the gold plating adds flexibility to the nib. It looks like a JoWo nib, and those are not soft at all.
PhiBiSoLa
Hey @PhiBiSoLa -- I can see how that phrasing could be unclear. The implication is not that gold plating adds any softness or flex, simply that these steel nibs offer a bit more line variation than most other stainless steel nibs. Diplomat would be another one like this. Thanks for noting this, I will pass your suggestion along to our creative team.
This looks like really pretty and well made pen. Reviews I found online say it's a smooth writer with good build quality. Here's a video:

Too bad I can't justify purchasing 100$ pen right now. MSRP is a bit off on this one. PenChalet has it on "sale" for 103$. So it's not that big of a drop in price on this one.

...and it is only a cartridge converter. For a pen this size, I should have been a piston or other system.
Does that include their 10% discount? You can get the 10% code from several sources.
Looks very nice, but I can't stand converters. Anyone know how an eyedropper conversion would go with this?
timo
Hey @timo -- I was going to try this now with our sample, but two things stopped me:
1) The section-to-barrel threading is metal-to-metal, which is not ideal. 2) The barrel end is two pieces sandwiched around the chrome trim ring.
I may get some silicone grease and try anyway, but would not recommend at first glance. Hope that helps, great question - it would hold a TON of ink if it worked!
What is the size of nib? Hopefully ef

Are the nib sizes in alignment with German/western made pens or more like those in Japan? Ex. a fine on a Japanese pen is closer to EF on a western nib.

I don't know this specific pen. I am just a guy that owns way too many of them. This definitely looks like a Jowo nib. They make nibs for lots of pen companies. I am pretty sure you just tell them what you want engraved on it. Most of them have this same decorative scroll work on the sides of the nib. TWSBI is a good example of these nibs. Same shape and design. They tend to be pretty close to any other German sized nibs. Definitely not thin like a Japanese nib. I hope that helps.
