Tactico TC3 Automatic GMT Watch

Reminiscent of an airplane’s instrument panel, the Tactico TC3 is highly functional and easy to look at. With respect to features, the watch has a 24-hour sub dial at 12 o’clock that allows you to track time in another time zone. It’s fitted with a date window at 3 and a power reserve indicator at 6. Also unique about the watch is the crown at 8 o’clock, which rotates the inner bezel ring inside the case in both directions so you can keep track of elapsed time. Fitted with Soprod 9305 21-Jewel automatic movement, the watch has a 42-hour power reserve.

The Tactico TC3’s dial is characterized by its dark color and bold, easy-to-read numerals and styling. Arabic numerals in white denote the hour, but at 10 o’clock the Greek cyrillic letter “Ef” may surprise some people unfamiliar with Tactico’s work. The rounded, stainless steel case is easy on the eyes, and a sapphire crystal keeps the face clean and free of scratches. For visibility, the hands and markers are lumed so you can easily decipher the time at a glance. The seconds hand, shaped like an airplane, extends nearly to the edge of the case for precision—just like a pilot may want when in the air.

The Tactico TC3 comes packaged in a leather roll with a host of extras for adjustments and fine-tuning. Unclasp the two buckles to reveal a spring bar tool, extra strap, a cleaning cloth, and four extra spring bars—all of which are neatly compartmentalized in different slots. The roll itself wouldn’t look out of place at a business meeting, and can serve as storage for watches, important accessories, and more.
