Does anyone know which switch compared to Cherry MX Clear? I chose Zealios 67g.
I work in an office so I cannot have clicky ... but I like Strong Tactile bump ... not too stiff.
Moeeeddepends on what part of the cherry clear you like. it ranges from 55grams when you first push to 95grams roughly at bottom out.
67g Zealios would most likely be the best middle ground. I heard they rate there switches at bottom out for there weights.
keep in mind Tactile switches are still a bit noisy but nothing like clicky switches. Linear's are completely silent unless you bottom out then there is the thud from the cap hitting the plate.
HotRoderXThanks for the reply, Since I am very new to the mechanical keyboard I would say I like the part till the tactile bump.
Comparing to MX Brown, where I have noticed that the switches are quiet lite and sometimes my finger is on the switch and continuous keys register. I am in Canada and I am currently looking for a Vortex Race 3 with Cherry MX Clears :) Thanks for the response. Appreciate your input.
MoeeedThe 67g Zealios are the most tactile switch of all the options offered. The 78g Zealios have more resistance at the end of the downstroke, but because of the heavier spring weight, the tactile bump feels less pronounced. All Zealios have the same stem design - the only differences are the spring inside and the stem color for visual differentiation. And Zealios are indeed rated at bottom out as opposed to actuation.
MoeeedI use 67g Tada in an office everyday as a Software Dev, they are smooth and have a really nice tactile feel. However they may be "stiff" to you if you aren't used to the slightly heavier spring, might recommend 65g as another option. That being said i love my board as it is!
