i just received notice that after having placed my order, this drop was canceled. why?

Fatalruinagreed. i sent a follow-up email seeking details but i have not heard a response--nor do i expect one. perhaps if you (and anyone else whose order was canceled) writes asking for information we might get a substantive answer.

washington_irvingMy order was also cancelled. It would be nice to figure out why. I'm guessing they preemptively placed an order with the vendor and too many people signed up.

enordwell, as i said, perhaps if enough of us inquire, we may actually get a meaningful answer--although maybe i'm just being naive. this was my first purchase from massdrop and i have to say the experience has not inspired me to buy from them again.

How do you do per-key RGB lighting on a Shift V2?
I saw the online configurator that lets you do this on the Shift V1, where it spits out a compiled firmware file to flash. The V2 doesn't seem to have this function in the Windows configurator, though. I can't imagine the answer here is "you're going to have to manually write the hex for every key in QMK, compile it, and flash that".
