Tamiya 1/14 King Hauler Semi-Truck Black Edition
Aside from electronics, this semi-truck kit includes everything you’ll need to build and drive a realistic replica of a three-speed tractor truck.
Load-Hauling Replica
A realistic 1/14-scale replica of an actual tractor trailer, the King Hauler semi-truck kit comes with pre-painted metallic parts and chrome accents. It’s fitted with a three-speed transmission designed to haul actual loads, and the ladder-frame chassis combines with front and rear metal leaf spring dampers to produce a body as tough as the trucks it’s modeled after. Even the front-mounted motor, which uses a propeller shaft to power the rear wheels, is based on the real thing.
Note: This drop is for the King Hauler kit. It does not include a radio system, servo, Multi-Function Control Unit, battery pack, or charger. The Multi-Function Unit will be offered at check out.
Multi-Function Unit Sold Separately
To truly simulate a full-size truck, the King Hauler is compatible with a Multi-Function Control Unit that can be purchased separately. From the engine sound, which was digitally recorded from an actual diesel truck, to the air horn, gear shift, and headlights, the MFCU gives you control over the sensory components of a real semi. And thanks a cam and motor, it even provides realistic start-up and idling vibration.
