I'm gonna file RC semis with stamp collecting and trainspotting as hobbies of which I just don't see the appeal. RC bashers, crawlers, drift cars etc. I get it. They go fast and there is action. This is large, slow (relatively), and very limited in what it does. Can someone explain this?
Bob13013I always theorized it must be in the challenge of maneuvering the vehicles, and the scale scenario appeal. But maybe someone who's done it can shed some light on that, these guys seem pretty into to it..
Bigred1957When I saw that someone named Bigred replied I knew he was the guy who could explain this. Unfortunately it looks like no such luck. However I like how you backed it up by joining the drop. Well played.
Bob13013Ok, my mistake. Not sure what else to add. Like I said, scale it's the thing with this rig. Multiple choices for trailers and cargo, lots ing aftermarket parts for sounds, lights, details of any imaginable kinds! No racing or jumping, mud bogs or carpet tracks. Just simple pride in workmanship! And you can play with it to boot! I've gone in each different direction and they all have their cool points but to me scale is more fun! Most folks building model ships may love to set them afloat but not sink'em! Some folks like me like to polish their accomplishments rather than burn them up. Also tamiya does put effort in the detail! To me the rc's with ridiculously big tires for stability for high speeds and unrealistic looks are dumb. Just depends what your into.
