The f/2.8–4 aperture gives you control over depth of field and allows enough light in for low-light situations. Each of the 15 elements is coated with Tamron’s broadband anti-reflection coating to reduce glare and ghosting, and the front lens element is coated in fluorine for easy cleaning. Finally, an OSD autofocus motor provides quick, quiet, and precise focusing performance in still and video mode.
