Tascam Portable Studio
Allowing you to record up to 32 tracks of media, the Tascam DP-32SD is a portable studio, or “portastudio”, that’s easy to use and offers the user full control over his or her mixes. The DP-32SD is capable of recording up to 8 tracks at a time via the combination XLR and 1/4" combo jacks. Each track has its own EQ and can be digitally mastered while being captured.
Design and Function
The “portastudio” has twelve selectable tracks between MONO or STEREO and has the ability to transition into a 20-track multitrack recorder when all are set to MONO. The DP-32SD also comes with 20 track-faders and one master fader, offering the user even more control during the recording process. The device utilizes SD/SDHC media, providing reliable shock resistance. Files can easily be transferred between the unit and a Mac or PC via a USB 2.0 connection. The supported file formats are FAT16 or FAT32.
Additional Details
Included in the design are channel-strip knobs and a colorful LCD to make mixing faster and easier for the user. The DP-32SD comes with high-impedance input, and phantom power supply for all inputs.
