Operating out of San Francisco, CA, Taylor Stitch is a small apparel company that humbly began in 2008 with three friends and an apartment on the corner of Taylor and Clay Streets. Now settled in San Francisco’s Mission District, Taylor Stitch's garments are designed in-house and produced by a well-known Californian manufacturer that has been making shirts for many large clothing brands over several decades.
The relaxed and comfortable button-down from Taylor Stitch is an everyday classic that can be worn in both casual and semi-formal settings. Tailored for a flattering fit, Taylor Stitch Oxfords are chest sized rather than alpha sized (S/M/L) in order to provide the best fit possible. A thoughtful design feature of the Oxford is the lack of pleats, which makes for clean lines and easy ironing. Made from the company’s burly rugby oxford material, each piece is assembled using single needle construction to create French seams, the most classic and difficult way to sew a shirt. The shirt also has comfortable high armholes as well as double stitched, unbreakable Japanese urea buttons.
