Great news group! The vendor has let us know that the group's order was picked up and is on its way to our warehouse now. Based on the tracking provided these are scheduled to come in 4/2. Our warehouse team has been forwarded tracking info and will be standing by, ready to get these packed up and turned around as soon as they come in.
Sometimes shipments get delayed en route, not to worry as we will keep the group posted throughout the process and notify you all if anything causes delay.
Thanks for your patience and expect an update from us on 4/3 or sooner if something comes up.

fivediceFulla Schiit? Really? Who's naming these "serious products", high school kids smoking weed behind the bleachers?

monkifiedProbs, I don't really care what they name it, as long as it sounds good.

Is it possible to plug this into a PC and use it there without the need to charge regularly?

doughnut112USB OTG cable is a one-directional. It can't make the connected device a host and a client (for charging) at the same time. You should change the cable in order to charge it.
Also, there are plenty desktop DAC/AMP combos near this price point. However I don't recommend you to buy DAC /AMP for such price if you want to improve a sound quality. You can't hear the difference between this and your built-in Realtek codec (only if the high pitch noise from other electronic components will distort the sound).
So if your want DAC/AMP only for amplification better get dedicated amplifier (for example Schiit Magni).
P.S. Sorry for my English. It's my 3rd language.

16bit, 48 kHz playback doesn't seem impressive in today's world.

rule of thumb is in order to fully sample the given frequency, you need to sample at 2x the frequency, which means 48KHz should cover up to 24KHz. Human is fully capable of hearing above 20KHz if young enough. 20KHz is the average. I agree anything above 44.1KHz sampling is snake oil tho. Here is an interesting article on the topic: http://people.xiph.org/~xiphmont/demo/neil-young.html

jwzhanIt is Nyquist–Shannon sampling theorem. I read that article. Moreover, I tried to hear the difference between 44.1 Khz and 20Khz using ABX test. I failed that test :)
Also I couldn't distinguish 320Kbps CBR (converted from FLAC) and 192bit 96khz FLAC. I failed it too.
So I decided for myself that a good ripped MP3 or FLAC is good for me.
P.S. For test I was using Schiit Modi DAC and JBL LSR05 and Beyerdynamics DT770.
