Just curious about what differentiates this model (65S401) from the 65S405 available at Target for $100 less? https://goo.gl/TzzDMw (edited with shorter URL)
Thanks

AtriumXPI'm wondering the same. Both models have a MSRP of $799. I imagine the extra $100 is to cover "free" shipping. I don't really see a deal here tbh, go to Target and pick it up for less. Defeats the point of MD...

AtriumXPThe stands. The S401 has metal legs, S405 has plastic grey legs and S403 has black plastic legs.
They are the exact same TV though for all of them.

AtriumXPAs has been mentioned, the stands/feet, they have different model numbers for same tv depending on seller. I got a 55” version for $390 from Costco last Saturday. Great TV at that price, I think one may be able to do better for $900 for a 65” though. Compared to my Panasonic Plasma that my son broke, the picture isn’t quite as good, but few compare with quality plasmas. OLED TVs are the way to go if you want a tv that will last you a while with great picture quality.
This model has low input lag (great for gaming), a terrific smart tv experience, fast bootup, and respectable image quality on higher quality sources. The off axis viewing isn’t really as bad as rtings.com would have you think. It’s direct lit. I think with holidays coming up, one can find a better deal, but with all that said, this is a quality television experience and includes what is basically a 4K roku inside.

clay.bellThey're the same panel. 405, 403 and 401 have HDR. You can check rtings.com and the product on TCL.

clay.bellAs mentioned by someone else, same panels, just slight cosmetic variations for different retailers. The remote works well, is very simple, but does get line of sighted. The TV itself does not have many controls on it so the app or remote are musts.

AtriumXPThere's a deal at Target starting soon that will bring the price down even more using their Cartwheel App (especially with a redcard)
