KelzI'd recommend more power output than this. This is more for small speakers first, the headphone amp isn't particularly strong. While it's better than nothing, my setup of a Topping D30 DAC and a Magni 3 amp would run same or less than this and have plenty of power, but they won't run passive sound system speakers. So I would look elsewhere if you want just a headphone DAC/amp setup.

KelzI own both and have tried them together. The TEAC is awesome for speakers and insanely clear. Like crazy clean. The headphone amp is only okay though. From what I can tell, it's due lower power. It's even more noticeable on the HE4XXs. I still don't understand why they didn't include outputs on this either. It would make it such a better buy.
