Lots of usable features, good quality
I've had this a few years now. It started as a system for the kids to play CDs, then it became my desktop amp (using USB digital from my laptop), and now it's the sound system for our 2nd TV (using optical digital from the TV). We're using the subwoofer out (turning the kids into bassheads). Especially in its use as the TV system, the remote is very handy. I wouldn't be surprised if the CD mechanism goes bad at some point...but so far it's still working. The main feature that is missing is being able to play music off of a USB thumbdrive. If it had that, it'd be perfect.

universal Voltage was a big plus. I just wish it had a line-out option.

Scaled down from surround sound to this small stereo unit It is a great modern catch all audio system for my living room. Just enough sources for my application with PC / TV / FM / CD / and Bluetooth.
It was worth it to me when I heard new detail from FLAC versions of some old favorite songs. Wish it had tone knobs but those don't seem to be popular anymore.

The amp works fine and I'm pleased with the performance of that part of the unit. However, CD player was defective out of the box. I bought this unit because it was an integrated amp with a good CD player. This is when buying from Massdrop is a problem: any brick-and-mortar store would have simply taken it back. Went to the authorized service center in September. TEAC sucks when it comes to warranty issues. Part did not come in until March, and it was the wrong one. Part was reordered. It's now been 11 months since I received the unit and it still is defective. I am not happy, and won't be ordering any audio equipment this way again.

mathguy1015Follow-up: Onkyo bought TEAC and they have very good customer service. They simply exchanged the unit for another. The CD player worked out of the box, then died a few months later. I give up.

I’ve had this unit for the better part of a year and enjoyed it very much. Build quality feels very good. CD and Bluetooth functionality has been flawless. Obviously it doesn’t have a tremendous amount of power, but paired with some highly sensitive Klipsch RP-160Ms, it sounds great and can get very loud.

I love this! It works great for CD’s and for bluetooth and other digital applications. If you want a receiver, it has that, too. It has 27 wpc, so it drives its own train, so to speak. I only wish it had outputs rather than only inputs. Mine is plugged into my vintage receiver via the headphone jack.
