david_abadiaHi,
I've used it with the Neutron Player app on my smartphone, and also streaming Pandora. It works fine with both. But those are the only two apps I've had extensive experience using it with, so can't comment on the others.
Ironically, I was never able to get the TEAC Player app to work satisfactorily on my phone, so abandoned that.
Keep in mind that with a micro USB output jack from the phone, you will also need an OTG adapter in order to get everything to work properly.
With a short USB cord into a short OTG adapter, you will have something like a 6" cable coming out of your phone and looping back into your DAC/amp.
Such a thing is not a big deal for me, as I tend to listen when I have time to sit and spread out. But if you are constantly moving, it might be handier to have a longer, more flexible, cable that can be partially coiled, so you don't knock against the stiffness of the shorter cables and damage the jacks.
I understand that USB C has OTG built in. In which case you don't have to mess around with an adapter.
But I'm happy with this DAC/Amp. It has a more open, airy sound than a Chord Mojo. I find that with my Audio 64 U10s, the sound is very, very involving and almost hypnotic.
I like this dac/amp a lot.
