For people complaining about the price, this turntable is amazing! Just checkout the last line of the description;"The TN-570 model adds a built-in phono preamp and analog-to-digital converter, allowing you to easily convert your archive to vinyl". It writes to vinyl!

Moonsand1IT WRITES TO VINYL ????????? This suggests that this turntable is capable of making vinyl pressings? If this were true then what else would you write vinyl to? I, being fairly knowledgeable about sound engineering would suggest that there is some incorrect information here. Go to TEAC's website and read the specs and capabilities of this turntable. It's an excellent machine if you can use the features but I highly doubt you can convert anything digital to vinyl via this turntable. If you are after a vinyl sound via digital then study tube amps or solid state with mosfet transistors. If you have vinyl, and you can afford a good turntable, then these TEACS seem to be a good choice. Study and compare prices but always consider the retailer and their ability to back up the products they sell.

Moonsand1It doesn't write to vinyl. Someone either misunderstood what an ADC does, or just made a typo in the description. What it actually does is act as a USB Audio input device so you can "rip" vinyl to digital formats.

Sinister_SilenceI know it doesn't.... I'm making fun of Massdrops choice of words in their description. Sarcasm people.

Moonsand1Sarcasm accepted. Makes me wonder though, how many people read this add and then went on-line searching for blank vinyl discs ... move over Abbey Road.
