sorry to beat a dead horse but can massdrop clarify it will take cherry mx switches or only gateron "rgb". also it is still not clear to me and rest of the folks if the TKL is RGB lighting. if it is not it is only fair that you all contact those who is in like me for the TKL so we can pull out of this.

hardswitches111There was a reply further up that stated that the TKL is not RGB. "We were told that while the full size keyboard is RGB. The TKL is actually the same LED setup people are seeing elsewhere. However that LED is also SMD and not the usual bulb we see in most keyboards." That being said I read that cherry MX RGB switches will fit but not the regular switches because of the cutout for SMT/D leds on the bottom.

GilianzSorry, to me that wasn't clear. "TKL is not RGB" is much more clear, and should have been stated on the main page and not the discussion. It also said that we would be notified but I was not. Thank you for your help and answering the question about other switches that may be compatible.
