Though I'm not sure if those vials are too long or not. What would one do if the vial is longer than the fob we order here?

Both the vials and fob are (at least by number) the same size so you should be good to go. If the vial is a little too small you could pad it, but if it's too big there's not really anything you can do other than reorder
