Maybe this post will give some people some help. I'll sound like a fanboy but I've come to appreciate this tiny keychain assistant.
Some years ago I decided to buy this TEC fob from the company directly and even spoke to the owner with a question. I'm pretty sure I've been carrying it now for three years. I found my tritium supplier on CPF forums (it was Merkava) and everything worked out great. I have blue in it but also purchased green (the two brightest colors I believe). I'm a gadget person but only when it serves an extremely useful purpose: otherwise I retire it to a drawer. My wife first discovered my keychain sitting on my nightstand at night and asked me about it. She thought it was really cool and I told her I would get her one which of course I never did or forgot to.
Having an always on tritium keychain fob that weighs absolutely nothing is a perfect addition to a keychain. I cannot tell you how many times I've been looking for my keys at night and found them immediately because they were glowing on a table, counter, night stand my walk-in closet shelf, etc.
When I first bought it I really was getting it because I just thought it was kind of cool...tritium vial, etc. . I didn't really expect that I would find a use for it. I'm joining this drop and will get these as stocking stuffers while I have time to round up the tritium.

Marriedinorlandothank you for uploading the photo of your fob. the brightness on your fob seems kinda dull under sunlight. is that normal? i'm still checking with customs whether is it legal to import radioactive materials in to singapore. the embrite fob has no problem from another drop before. in the meantime i'm just going to sit on this.

bsastorIn daylight you won't see a tritium vial at all. Not one bit. Keep in mind this is a very low level of radioactivity that will glow for 10+ years. Your eyes would be most sensitive to the color green, so that's the color to get for the brightest. But it will only be visible in a very dark environment.....which is what you would need it for. You cannot read by this. Remember it's 3mm wide. If you have a very dark room you will absolutely find your keys or whatever this is attached to. There's not much radioactivity going on here. Tritium watches are very common: Ball, Luminox, IsoBrite, Armourlite, Traser to name a few.

MarriedinorlandoI feel like Timex analog watches also use/used Tritium, if I remember my high school years (2000's) correctly. Doesn't Amazon sell Tritium vials or something similar?
Married, I definitely appreciate your perspective as a fan. I saw these and always felt they were a bit of a vanity/aesthetic item (and I don't particularly love the thin lantern look), couldn't see the point. But reading your comment, I realize I'm almost always casting around my apartment if I forget to put my keys down immediately in the usual place (or if my Fiancé puts mail on top of it).
I might actually NEED this.

MarriedinorlandoI'm interested in this too; I bought tritium sights for my HK P30 almost 10 years ago and while they aren't as bright as when I first got them, they still work great. The half-life is ~12 years meaning every 12 years it will be half as bright as it was at the start of that 12 year cycle.
