FiremedicNot sure what you mean by inflated MSRP. Actual MSRP is $64.95, so I guess if you think the $0.05 is inflated then perhaps you are right. But they are simply rounding up.
The additional $6 charge for anodizing is less than what we would charge for an anodized version, so it is being discounted. But we do not offer anodizing anywhere but on this drop, exclusive to Massdrop, so I understand that you have no vlaue to compare it with.

TECENGI mean do you buy msrp on a car or a watch....no i doubt it. Msrp are inflated values. Keep ur 5 dollars in savings. Thanks but no thx. Next time you go buy a car....walk on the lot and say "I will take that one whatever price you say it is...i believe in msrp, please throw in the undercoating as well."

FiremedicSorry, but this is not a car. Using that as an example is not applicable here. This is a specialized product for a limited market, and no one sells it below MSRP. I dont know where you are coming up with a $5 savings. The savings is approximately $10 ($65 - $55), and as everyone else who sells this will charge shipping as well that is not an additional cost when purchasing here. Massdrop shipping is very reasonable, so it is not an inflated shipping charge.
But that's fine, if you don't like the price, no one is forcing you to buy it. But you will not get it cheaper, or an anodized version anywhere else.

FiremedicGrow up. You've not been disallowed or prohibited from purchasing the product. If you don't WANT to purchase it or don't feel it's worth the price being asked...DON'T buy it!
No victimisation necessary. Just spend elsewhere on products at prices you prefer.

Gldndragon77Look im not looking to beef with anyone. My original post was about massdrop and not necessarily bout the spinner.
Like it or not MSRP are generally inflated values. That's not to say the product isnt worth it but, i believe in buying products that i perceive value in. Meaning i want to feel like i got a good deal or the best deal i could.
I thought the point of mass drop was to move hopefully large numbers of products at a reduced cost...thus taking advantage of economies of scale.
Today the spyderco para 3 was dropped for a higher price than you could purchase on both ebay and amazon. I assumed maybe incorrectly... products would have substantial costs savings due to large numbers of sales.
Im not at all saying the spinner isnt worth it...ive paid more for less impressive spinners.
I dont generally pay msrp....for example just bought Seiko Sumo MSrp was 675.00, i paid 395.00 brand new watch. I believe maybe incorrectly, that companies selling items on massdrop or any other similar site....should pass on the savings of not needing to pay sales people to go out to retailers and push their products, they recieve free advertising on social network sites that add to sales, they save money on sending one huge shipment to one retailer massdrop instead if thousands of small oders sent to thousands of places. My opinion yes, but sounds like many people agree. Im new to massdrop but have read several posts today about pricing.
Yes i realize people will pay msrp asking for products like rolex, i phone, Harley Davidson but they arent taking advantage of the benefits of massdrop

FiremedicSeems to me that you get that msrp is b.s. So the only important question is: are you gonna buy it at the price given or not.
Because if msrp is b.s., then so is the "discount". All that matters is the price given vs YOUR decision and the value you associate with the products.
If the msrp is $500 but the "discount" price is $50 vs another product or website posts a product msrp $100 discounted at $45, are you gonna get the greater "discount" percentage , the better price or the more reliable vendor, or the faster shipping?
It's up to YOU to decide!

TECENGTired of everyone complaining about something they like but can't afford. This, compared to other fidget toys in cheap. Mine arrive a few days ago from the first drop and I haven't let go of it since. It's a great thing to carry around all day. The materials feel awesome in my hand and there are a bunch of different ways you can fidget with it. Anyone that complains about MSRP or anything of the sort should promptly be ignored. They're just voicing their opinion about something they have no understanding of.
Tooling titanium isn't cheap. That's the bottom line. The fact that they're already $10 off MSRP means they're likely not making much after Massdrop takes their cut. TEC is a great company. The fact that they even take the time to reply to these trolls is testament to that.
