Completely, and utterly f'ing useless--second time I've been stung on an MD purchase! And evidently I have only myself to blame. Be warned--these things are the size of Barbie-doll earrings. I have no idea what the Mfg intended them for, but they are in no way suitable for the use I intended. Additionally, they arrive "unassembled", which is to say, you get to figure out how to connect the minuscule snap clip to the minuscule belt clip with the supplied SUB-minuscule keyring. Can it be done? Yes. is it worth the effort? Yes, if you're in need of an attractive set of Barbie-doll earnings. Seriously, these damn things are at least half the size they'd need to be if you wanted to use them in combination with a decent sized folder, or your key chain. First thing I did when I saw the size, was go back to the drop and check the specs. Yup, the dimensions were right there, plain as day, for all to read. Damn shame I missed them--aided, I believe by some rather deceptive product photography. Check out my photo for a more realistic shot"

RayFI don't see an issue with the size. I didn't order this, but I have a clone from aliexpress that is likely the same size. You can still fit a carabiner with all your keychain stuff on it through the loop and have your keychain hang from your pocket. I wouldn't mind if it were bigger, but I also don't see why it has to be.

SoundtoxinSo far the only use I've found for it-- attach it to a lanyard on small flashlight. What did you attach yours to?

SoundtoxinHaving some troubles with images and captions being deleted when trying to edit or copy paste. I just put my whole carabiner on the clip and then clip it to my pocket. Recently got one of those keychain/badge extenders instead so that I can pull my whole keychain while it's attached to my pocket. Works great for unlock my door when I get home without having to unhook my keychain.

SoundtoxinGood mods for sure. I see you've replaced the dinky little key ring mine was shipped with and added a more suitably sized one and, you dumped the equally dinky snap lock altogether. Meaning you only kept the one useful bit in the whole mix--the belt/pocket clip. Good thinking!

RayFGood point. I suppose I was mainly considering the clip itself.

RayFAlways annoying to have your posts on the products discussions, whining like a baby. I wish there was a "block user" button Massdrop.

bruckner My "posts" as you put it, are just my thoughts and opinions--that's what the Discussion portion of MD is all about. You don't have to agree with them or like them, and annoying you was never my intention--but I do consider it a fringe benefit ;- )

brucknerAll you have to do is report his posts when he starts trolling and going off topic. He's too much of a child to know when to stop, so maybe getting his posts deleted and his account banned will do him some good.

RayFIt's a shame. I've got one that's 1-3/4' long and just a little beefier than these and it's perfect for my victorinox deluxe Tinker. Haven't been able to find them but would've paid the price if these were them, which they are not.

MisterBNo, they are not. I was able to connect one to the lanyard of a small Fenix light and then clip the hook end to a thick, leather belt. That way the light can either hang down into my pant pocket, or I can shove the whole mess into my coin pocket. Either way, it's easy to find when I need it. I'm comfortable with something light on the clip, but wouldn't trust it with a full set of keys--that would require something about three-times larger.

RayFI agree that these are WAY too small and delicate compared to what it seemed like in the photos. BUT, the product as received, and as pictured here by RayF, NOT made from stainless steel. The snap clips ARE NOT the same as pictured in the MD ad photos. The ones I got are POT METAL, which is essentially useless to me. And the pocket clips cling to a magnet, so they are not stainless steel, either. In short, this is crap sold at premium prices. The value is closer to $5, tops. If that. Especially since the pot metal snap clips cannot be relied upon - it was the unbreakable nature of stainless steel (or at least steel) snap clips that made these seem worthwhile. I tossed out my packaging and receipt, or I would have taken the time to refund these. A total loss as far as I'm concerned.

fogboundI suppose I could have lived with (or replaced) the cheap parts, but the size turned out to be the biggest disappointment. A shot of one in somebodies hand (like the one I posted) definitely would have put things into perspective! Maybe they'll make one the way we'd all like someday?
