Commercially pure titanium is around 200 Vickers hardness with no heat treatment. Tooth enamel is around 275 according to a paper I looked up (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3924884/). I assume these guys are not using Ti6-4 due to cost.
