What a rip off -- these are no ore than cheap Chinese products paid to have a special brand name placed on them -- you can get the same thing on Alibaba or e-bay for a fraction of the cost -- boycott this is another Massdrop rip-off

jhnhurterAhh so that would explain the lifetime warranty. I'll just continue fishing with Tenkara Rod Co. products. Tried and true with the proof being in the net ;)

jhnhurterWait a second. Isn't Alibaba the place where tons of knockoffs are offered at a cost 1000% cheaper than any original product on the market??

jhnhurterI am no better and no worse than the next man. However, you seem to believe that products on Alibaba have their own right to creativity. Alibaba certainly serves a need.
jhnhurterThat's actually incorrect. You can buy cheap ripoffs of pretty much anything on Alibaba or E-Bay. They won't come with lifetime warranties, customer service, and an actual products designed and tested by anglers like us. If you have a problem with our company that is fine, but trolling like this is pretty obvious to people looking for actual reviews and you're not going to be taken serious. I'm happy to talk to you about our manufacturing so you can understand better if you'd like to email me Lars@Tenkararodco.com.

LoshI had the best experience with Tenkara.co, my item did not arrive and was possibly on hold in customs dept, what they did was they sent a new package and just told me just to return the first that took time to arrive, (i could have receive the item and never sent it back but they trusted their costumer) they even sent me a replacement item for free that i was not able to purchase because it was out of stock at that time. Emailing them is like i was just in store and taking care of me as a walk in costumer. I have three rods of different sizes and still planning on buying for other family members.

LoshDo you have any suggestion on where to start for learning how to use one of these? I've never fly fished but have cast-fished all my life. I'm very interested in getting one of these for backpacking and kayaking but have no idea how to use it and would like to learn. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!

This can help you start out. I'd also go into a local fly shop and ask for good waters to fish and what flies are good this time of the year.
